The New Year Equals New Changes at Clover Stornetta Farms
Petaluma, CA—On January 1, 2006 the Board of Directors of Clover Stornetta Farms named Marcus Benedetti the new President of the Company, while Dan Benedetti announced his retirement. Dan will still remain a working partner in the company, acting as its Chairman of the Board.
“I am thrilled that we’ve moved the company along to its third generation, a challenge that is difficult for many small, privately held businesses,” said Dan Benedetti. “I hope that one day our current partners will be able to pass it down to our children’s children.”
In addition to the change in presidency, Clover has also hired Sylvia Bautista as its Human Resource Director. Bautista’s long standing career includes eight years with Macy’s, 10 years with Freidman Bros in HR, and eight years with JDSU, again in HR.
Anita Ortega was hired as controller. A sixteen year resident of Sonoma County, Ortega’s past experiences include work as a CPA, financial analyst, and most recently an operations controller at JDSU.
